A complete set of 2.2 A/C pipes, just been refurbished by Bee Cool at the cost of £300, I'm not giving them away for free, but I need £50 to help to take away the hurt (don't ask ) you can be confident that these have been refurbed properly. They have just done one of my 3.2's and everything is 100%. Second hand set currently on Fleabay @£65....BTW collection only from Reading, Berkshire.
Elbow Grease, non solvent and about a quid to buy. it dissolves that crappy silicone cockpit shine that every one used way back. Soak the switch faces in a shallow tray for about an hour at least (but not the complete switch body)and it breaks it down and gives a milky appearance. Then a microfibre cloth soaked in the Elbow Grease and the odd gentle scraping with your finger nails will get rid of the cockpit shine for good without affecting the coating. I've done sixty plus switches to date and they are as good as new....and yes I know I'm a klepto, but you can never have enough switches
BG is right, two of my cars have limited slips, which may or may not complicate things a bit more. So looking further into the future and Boris the bullshitters green plan for us all, then some extra sound deadening on the boot floor and under the rear seat area, and a pair of ear defenders......job's a good 'un and money saved
I've punted my cars around local companies who do rebuilds but... I got the sharp intake of breath treatment, and was told that they didn't want a car clogging up their workshop space whilst waiting for non existent spares. So pardon me for breathing, and I'll jog on and keep my hard earned in my Swiss bank account
Bit of guidance needed for the 3.2 saloon, I'm looking for the two centre sections and the back box, but all the usual ebay sellers have dropped off the radar. The only ones available are in Poland at the moment.....any ideas for a UK source? tia
Thanks BG, also I've managed to find a pre wired connector made of Chinese cheese, which 'should be' the answer to the problem only got to splice it in Nicks solution much more viable, as where the EGR was hidden has actually over time damaged the wiring.
