If it's been pulling that big box around for a good time, I wouldn't think the auto box is up to much.

Interesting article about the production of drones and drone warfare in Ukraine.

https://unherd.com/2025/05/inside-a-secret-ukrainian-drone-factory/
A very concerning article, but I doubt the likes of Starmer or Macron will consider investing in such technology until it's too late.

These first person drones are really impressive. And scary, too.

Ursula von der Leyen seems to get whatever she wants from British Prime Ministers, so I can only think that she must give an amazing blow job!  :-X  ::)

I hear he is not 'overly attracted' to women. ::)

Well now you mention it, it is curious how a 21 year Ukrainian man knows so much about him. The house he owns, the flat where he used to live and the car he used to own.  :-X

Even curiouser, a 26 year old Romanian man has been arrested in connection with the arson attacks.  I wonder how Starmer knows these young men from Eastern Europe.  ???  ::)

Even curiouser still.... Why are the media showing zero interest?  ???  After all it's not every day that a sitting PM is targeted like this?  ???  Injunction?  ???   :-\
.

Can only hope that some "sleaze" comes to light about the scumbag Starmer , I would pay good money to watch him squirm his way out of those accusations.

Won't happen Rangie , the "D" Notice took care of that .
Much similar to the Super Injunction that Nicola Sturgeon is believed to have used to prevent the Press speaking about her sham marriage and lesbian affairs .It was blatently apparant that she was presenting a lie to the public to bolster her public personna as a happy wife in an idylic marriage , but the SJ ( that was reputed to have cost a quarter of a million per annum and paid by whom .....) effectivly gagged the press .
IMO that quisling starmer is up to his anus in gay relationships , which if made public could be compared to The Profumo Affair .
The revolting stench of sleaze and depravity that follows him like a puppy dog is not an unfortunate coincidence .
He's a vile creature that has no compuction about staring the camera square on and telling bare faced lies and in all my years I cannot think of another  politician that I have felt such loathing for .
I truly fear for the state of the UK in the near future .
Strange that, she didn't look anything like.like a rug muncher, did she?

If you could find a 14,000 year old tree in the first place, it wouldn't be able to remember what the weather was like 5 minutes ago, let alone prehistoric solar storms!  ;D
Leave it  ;D

Looking on the bright side there is £0 road tax this year, but £195 after that. :-X

Lucky for you that the new rules (40K+ snob tax) for EV's started for EV's registered after 1st April 2025, otherwise you'd be paying £195 + £425.  :y

Quote: A new Jaguar I-PACE, registered on or after April 1, 2025, will pay a first-year road tax of £10, with a standard rate of £195 for subsequent years if the on-the-road price is below £40,000. If the on-the-road price exceeds £40,000, the first-year tax will be £435 (including the expensive car supplement), and £425 will be added annually for five years after the second tax payment.

So, when Mrs Opti replaces it with a new one a few years down the line you'll be back to £195 + £425. They are taking the piss aren't they.  >:(

They've been quite canny.

All remaining I-Pace were registered on 1st March (so they get a 25 plate) but a month before the government 'theft tax' of £425 for the next 5 years kicks in saving a total of £2125.

I'm into year 2 of paying the extra £425 on the BMW which I'm not happy about. >:(

Also, how is it fair that an electric car will pay £195 from next year when an old duffer from Barnsley only pays £20 as his derv Grandland  belches black smoke into the atmosphere. >:D

Can't be right, can it. :)
£195 for the grandland

I think I would take legal advice in your case. That has to be unlawful under the right to free speech.
Linekers case is very different though as he works for the National / state broadcaster which has legal duties on neutrailty and impartiality.
It ignores them, but usually in a reasonably subtle way so it doesnt get into trouble over it.
Lineker has increasingly become more blatant about his political bias, and retweeting a message about Jews which had a rat symbol, was beyond the pale.
Even the Beeb - who seem to worship him, couldnt ignore that.
They'd just use the official secrets act as justification and lock him up for five years.

New key cut for the grandland. A nice young man turned up in his van at 12:30, demolished the tea and biccies I gave him, cut and programmed the key and was gone by 1:20.

It's unusual for a large dealership to sell a car without 2 keys.

I trust they are paying the cost and a little extra for the inconvenience they have caused. :)
Large dealership?  ;D
