Oil cooler cleaning etc.
« on: 03 January 2025, 14:33:18 »

Just a quickie... I've just acquired a couple of very good oil coolers, one stainless and the other the older type, and looking at them they are in really good condition. Both  having come from well cared for low mileage cars, and although they look pretty clean, I was thinking could they be cleaned a little more before being put in the spares shed....any tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA :)

A squirt of WD-40 inside, cap them off, wipe of oil outside, wrap in greaseproof paper and pop them in a sealed box. :y
