Must admit, looking more and more at those. Quite cheap now, even more so with Facelifted version soon to be released.

60+ mpg from the manual diesels, forums look "ok" not as good as here but still good. I'd be able to continue DIY service on them I suspect, which would save a lot of dosh.

Unlimited miles? That's brave, from NetworkQ?

That'll be upto 100k and only if Network Q :y

As for cost, anything over £7k would expensive given spec/mileage :y They start at £4300 on Autotrader...

I told them that I needed a warrantee that is more than 100,000 miles so they done me a deal with this unlimited mileage package over 3 years

As Al says, good luck with any claims on that. No doubt when you are at 120k and something fails they will just ticket against "general wear"

Within 3 years you expect things to last, but at 7 years with 74k already on it, that warranty is going to be hard to claim against.

Driving a 62 plate SRi Insignia courtesy of the RAC Legal team (whilst they sort out my claim) after my Omega was written off last month.
Very nice. I may consider one  at some point.
Good luck with your one.

I suspect I could still leave you in the rear view mirror as soon as anything other than a clear, straight road presented itself ::)

Its a capable enough car for what it is, just a dull, uninspiring drive.

In France, last year, where we were staying there were some utterly fantastic mountainous driving roads, mostly empty as well. My mate was in his Morgan, I was in the Insignia, and we had fun. *BUT* it never gave me that excitment.
