Got a nice shiny new MOT for the V70.  :y
Are you still gonna sell it? If so, that might help  :y

Yes and I'll want a lot more for it now!  :)

In the meantime it's got a few jobs to do...

Haven't used the Range Rover for a couple of weeks, so had a run over to Stamford ( Burghley House)  with SWMBO & Buddy the Boxer lovely grounds to walk over & free parking, bit of lunch and a nice drive home through several villages .

I worked at the horse trials there one summer many moons ago.  :)

Changed the oil in hers.  Being a diesel chain driven engine, I start to get twitchy once its done more than 4k on the oil.

Any wonder, the earlier Ingenium engines are prone to chain issues, my lads Xf needs doing at 82k with full history

Its the crazy 21k mile intervals that take out the chains (the links wear)...........full service history is never a good sign.

No matter now, WBAC gave him more than he paid for it so its gone.
Shame as he liked the car  but not the reputation of the early ingenium diesel !

Got the Mexican well and truly stuck on a boggy piece of soaked grass.

It may have 4 driven wheels but it was going nowhere.

BMWs have never been any good when not on tarmac.  I remember bro's X5 getting stuck on a playing field when he picked up his kids from footie....    ....much to my amusement, as my Omega drove away from being parked next to it with minimal drama ;D
