Title: Power steering not working
Post by: downsmen on 25 June 2013, 21:52:01
Hi
My power steering has just suddenly stopped working, it is really hard to turn the wheel when stationary almost impossible, there is Power steering fluid and the auxiliary belt is okay.
Has any one got any ideas what could be wrong?

Sounds like pumps gone.

What engine type?

Give this guy a look, he supplied mine & has been used by a fair few Oofers with very good recommendations :y
The pump he supplied me looked almost brand new!  :D

What Rob says above. Fuse takes out front power socket as well, if I remember right. Provably wrong though!

Indeed, if a V6, check that fuse first!
