Title: Bigger brakes
Post by: Keith ABS on 03 March 2021, 19:54:59
I recall sometime ago that a member here used some Porsche brakes on his car.
Anyone know what he used, discs as well, what size wheels they had to be to fit under and if they needed any special brackets made?
Asking for someone who is doing some modding

Humbucker fitted 6 pot Porsche Cayenne front brakes I believe. I've just found the old thread and he got the information off Seweryn Sidor (Serek of SOS Automotive) so it might be worth contacting Serek.  :y

Relevant info around reply No. 189 on the link below.

Serek did the same upgrade on one of my cars.

Basically it's Brembo 18Z Calipers fitted using custom brackets, you will need 18" wheels to clear the caliper. Either the discs or the hubs will need slight machining (I opted for the discs to be machined).

There's a few other bits and pieces to make it all fit but best to have a chat with Serek who has done a few of these now.
