I agree. Would require Bottas to sit out the rest of the season being paid to do nothing, but could be a price worth paying.
Completely agree! He may as well have licked Max’s testicles when he let him pass!

I cleaned it with a cotton bud, never thought of aftershave lol. It’s marginally improved but there wasn’t a lot of dirt there to begin with

Ah ok, I knew there were different grades but didn’t know the full extent of what that meant, so thank you for that info.  Every day’s a learning day!

I recently bought a PFL saloon system, I couldn't get an eternalcar one due to customs issues preventing them posting. Mine came from Scotland via ebay and the quality wasn't too bad but could have been better
Don’t suppose you have a link?

That car has a face-lift, single exhaust position Irmscher rear bumper, which are a smidgen shorter iirc, so the earlier system should fit fine.

The only dimensional difference is the tailpipe length from the back of the back box to the tip.

3.0/3.2 have twin tips, 2.5/2.6 singles. They are interchangeable.

And to confirm, the downpipes/cats are the same saloon/Estate, the rest (ie mid and rears) is saloon OR estate :y

That’s exactly right bud and good to know about the downpipes/cats!

The difference in length isn't really noticeable.

The only thing a performance mid section back will do is sound louder. Which spoils one of the car's better attributes.

My Mig currently has a Powerflow system at present. It’s basically joined the two banks together and is a single pipe into a back box which then has a “y” pipe into twin tips. The y pipe has all but rusted off and the system from the cat/down pipes back is a single 2.5inch system as opposed to the factory spec twin 2.5 inch right the way back!

Now I’m most likely wrong with this theory, but I fear it’s strangling the engine (or maybe the difference is minimal) and think that a twin system would allow it to breathe better.  Not to mention the fact that it’s rusting, which I find odd for a stainless steel system

Ah ok, I was specifically looking at a “performance” system, so perhaps as the tailpipes are shorter it wouldn’t be the answer at all in this case. Thanks for the info though.

The whole switch with the window buttons has to be removed in one piece. It is easier if the door card is unclipped so that the connector plug (which is the locking type) can be accessed properly to release it from the switch.
I have tried to release the four tabs to lift the switch out whilst the door card is in situ, but usually the switch comes apart, and there isn't much wriggle room for the connector to be released, so I find it easier to loosen the door card for the time it takes.

Cheers for that dude.

Would a pfl v6 exhaust system (mid pipes and rear silencer) fit a fl? In this instance it’s a saloon system obviously for a saloon.

When the switch is set to the passenger side, the passenger side mirror adjusts fine. When set to the drivers side it does nothing.

So I believe it’s the switch that’s at fault.

There’s something oddly mesmerising about watching a volcano eruption. The power of Mother Earth and all that!

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Drivers door mirror issue?
« on: 19 September 2021, 18:43:37 »
Another problem with my Omega Elite FL. The drivers side door mirror doesn’t appear to adjust. At first I thought it was the motor but recently I’ve discovered that when using the Seat Memory buttons the mirror is indeed moving.  So I assume it must the the switch used to select the side.

My questions are how is the switch removed on the FL? And is it most likely a case of the switch contacts needing cleaned?

Thanks in advance,

Brian
