Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Climate Panel

Plenty of heat if I set temp to HI, temp gauge reads at the mid point and outside temp on display was today showing 2c.

This all seems to be about normal.

So, presumably, that would require Tech2?

So how can you test if the thermistor is working correctly?

I'm sure there is a fault with my panel as I currently have it set for 24c and I'm sure the internal temp is nowhere near that.

If these panels don't have a fan, how can the thermistor check the cabin temperature if not drawing air in?

Thanks.

Once I have tested my panel, if I need a replacement all the ones I've seen have worn buttons, my panel has good buttons.

Rob G, I tried this and the paper didn't want to stick.

I mean the buttons to control air direction, auto,on,off etc.I need to replace some as the soft coating is coming off.

Can you replace the individual buttons on the panel and is there a way of checking if the sampling fan has stopped working? Thanks.

General Car Chat / Windscreen Replacement on Insurance
« on: 15 December 2016, 14:10:21 »
The windscreen on my Omega is covered in lots of tiny scratches probably due to 14 years of using the icescraper.
This causes alot of headlight and sun glare.
Would this qualify for an insurance replacement or does it actually have to be cracked or chipped?
Thanks.

Click on post, after around 30sec I get the message:

"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."

Clicking on try again results in a blank post window.

If I understand the technical terms correctly, then no.

My internet connection is Virgin Media 50mbps and my sim is also Virgin Media: 250minutes, unlimited texts, 1Gb Data, 30 day rolling contract.

The same setup I have had for several years

Just discovered I can still post using WAP2
