Is this still a thing...?
« on: 20 October 2020, 03:03:31 »

Way back when I had my first Omega (an ex-white TVP estate) there were meets for software updates and cambelt fitting sessions! I’m now on my 5th or 6th Omega and I feel a Tech2 session could be worthwhile, especially for any possible software updates!

Do the same people do the Tech2 stuff? I’m pretty sure I met Kevin Wood (?) in a car park at some hotel somewhere for a session.  :D ;D When I had an Omega I bought off an OOF member from Biggleswade?  ???

I do have access to a Tech2 machine and it’s owner is fairly knowledgeable but mainly with the Vectra generation of cars, I tend to use "My Naff Code Reader" where I can for the basic stuff.

Everything & everyone in this link still here and doing business? http://theboy.omegaowners.com/tech2/prices.shtml

He is still around, if you can get hold of him.  Not very local to you though.  There's a guy called Dan on Migweb with a Tech 2 at Farnham, Surrey I believe.

Everyone on that list is still on here once every few days.  Meets were becoming less common but still happened. Obviously, this year, such things have not really been possible.
