Lambda 1&2 Spare Numbers for V6 Y26SE
« on: 12 July 2022, 05:32:03 »

Hello, cannot find the page where spare numbers could be checked, some kind of "ZAP" or something...
But, is this sensor No.1 or are all the four sensors for V6 Y26SE the same? As far as I know sensor No. 1 is before pre cat.

Assuming your car is an auto, the 2.6 (same as the 3.2) has two o2 sensors with GM part no 9199469 (with the ident tag of BG), and also two o2 sensors with the GM part no 9195606 (with the ident tag of AH).
If a manual, then the o2 sensor 9199469 is substituted with 9199470. 9195606 is the same whether auto or manual.
The no 855385 is the Opel kat no. on the photo.
Hope that helps.

You posted that whilst I was mid post! That sensor is good for your auto in that case...

OK, thanks yes, what I need is sensor 1, I am afraid that it is sensor 2 if "rear" means that. Then 9195606 would be the one I need?

http://oemcats.com/oem-parts/9199469.html this is according to link for "rear exhaust pipe"

Electrically speaking the sensors are identical.

The actual difference is the length of the wire due to the gearbox shape. :y

This.

Or if you don't mind fiddling on with the wires you can get Bosch generic pnes that have an adapater plug to the GM worong :y

 This^^^^^ as it's cheaper
And you can also extend the wires if you move the sensors when fitting 3.0L downpipes, or modify the 2.6 ones

Its also possible to overestimate the length needed so you end up dismantling it under the car and having to redo it. Which involves stripping the Worlds Hardest Wire Insulation while laid on your back and trying not to sever an artery with the knife.

My proper auto wire strippers will do house wires, three core, and circumcisions without a problem.but the Bosch wiring just laughed at them :D

I have a bosch 0258 006 176 with AH tag on it, which ties into vx part no 9195606 and is listed as for front, from what I am reading. Only thing I'm wondering is it says the length should be 850mm but mne is 630mm. Anyone confirm the lengths of front and back ones?

I have several of each of these lambda sensors, some boxed GM and some Bosch.
 - 9195606 (Opel 855362), Bosch 0258006176 but also 0258006020 - 632mm in length with ident tag AH
I have three GM boxed of these - two have the 1st Bosch no. on the box, the third has the 2nd Bosch no on the box.

- 9199469 (Opel 855385), Bosch 0258006346 - 750mm in length with ident tag BG.

9195606 is the easier to find sensor, but 9199469's are available under the Bosch part no if you dig around. Be mindful that many sites list the 9199469 using the AH generic photo, so I would ask the seller to confirm the tag ident code and the Bosch no. on the body before buying.
Personally, I would check what is on your car at present, and make your choice using the Bosch no. etched into the body and the identifying tag, checking the cable length.

Thanks, will need to check the lengths of the cables on mine to be sure, some of the listings it seems the numbers are tallying up the but the lengths dont. I'm planning to do the sensors in a month or two so will have a look then. I bought another bosch one thinking it was for mine but when I researched the number again, I found it was actually for a Corsa 1.2 lol. I do have the Bosch 0258006176 one so that's a start.

So, once again, is the part in my first message here sensor 1 or sensor 2? Is B before something and A after or what these Alphabets mean?
