Replacement for the fake wood look
« on: 21 January 2008, 00:48:40 »

Not trying to offend anyone but I can't stand this fake wood look in the CD, CDX and Elite's. Much previous the fake aluminium from the MV6.

Does anyone know whether you can change it? And where to buy the kit? Or is there a MV6 owner who prefers the lovely looking  ;D wood and wants to swap  ;)

Plenty of choices over at eBay/US.

Thanks  :y

Is the Catera kit exactly the same as the Omega's? And does anyone actually used one of these kits, unless I am reading it incorrectly it sounds like these are stickers to be applied over the existing material?

[size=16]Stupid, stupid me. I forgot one important detail. Our cars are LHD. The interior trim is different. The doors, the console, window/lock buttons, and instruments? Contact the sellers before ordering. They may sell RHD kits.

Whilst the Catera is basically the same, there are interior differences (apart from the wheel on the wrong side!)

I think the dash is slighly different, Catera's have a different radio setup & dash cluster...

I think door cards are the same though.
