thought battery dead in key fob but just put new one in and the led didnt light up when pressed is there a special procedure to get it to work or is it faulty?
also because it didnt work the other morning i opened the door the old fashioned way and the alarm went off not good for neighbours as it was 6.30am
is this the only way to get the car to start when fob doesnt work

Yep, when fob is dead you open with the key, alarm goes off until the engine is started. It is in the User Manuel.

AFAIK only workaround is to disconnect the alarm power sounder...

ok not a prob but what about not working with new battery?
cant find user manual think missus through out omega instead of honda !!!
