fuel leaking into boot
« on: 08 April 2011, 14:55:32 »

HI All, I have a fuel leak coming into the boot and being soaked up by the boot carpet.  It seems to be leaking quite a bit but I can't find where it is coming from.  I have taken the inspection plate off and all the fuel connections are all dry and dusty.
has anyone got any ideas what could cause this.  I don't want to take it to VH if it is something simple.
Thanks for any help you can give a newbie.  :P

Worth taking the carpet out for a while to see if you can spot where it's from?

The only place the fuel is above the boot floor is the filler neck, so could that be leaking? Is there any evidence of leakage from under the car?
