Very clear and concise Mark. I've been running with EML on for some time now. Paperclip test tells me it's knock sensor 1. I've been driving it like this for so long, I've probably got used to the power loss. Will have to get it sorted [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I am trying to keep them understandable and I am deliberately ignoring some of the more teccie bits so as not to over complicate them.

Out of interest, Roughly how much are the parts from somewhere like MegaVaux  to change one of the V6 knock sensors?

I wouldn't pay more than about a tenner for one as they are two a penny given that they dont fail.....
