Fitting a toe bar from another mig.

Again any help or advice welcome for swapping a toe bar from a another mig. How easy is it to fit along with electrics?

Can somebody point out that it's called North Wales for a reason, lol. Every one of my southern friends always says "How do you fancy coming up to see us or well come down to you." NORTH means up. DOGH!!!!

If you swap from like to like there should not be any great probs, to be honest.

Fun and games would start if you want to swap a prefacelift saloon tow kit onto a facelift estate, I would think....   ;)

sounds like a div question but what are the obvious signs of a pre facelift and face lift? Sorry bit nice but dim. Not had the mig fever long.

am swapping from a 2.5 disiesel to a 3.0 elite, both saloons.

Estates and saloon differences are easy - hopefully??   :y

Facelift and prefacelift - easy ways are inside rather than out.

Power widow buttons on the door on facelift rather than beside the gearlever.

Storage pocket flaps on the front doors on facelift.

Double flap centre console on facelift.

Aircon buttons are two in number, one each side, on the facelift rather than three across the centre console on prelift.

Outside, the bonnet encompasses the front grille on the facelift where if you open the bonnet, the grille goes into thje air as well.  on the prefacelift, it stays behind fixed to the bumper.

Headlamp washers on facelift are fixed to the bumper whilst on the prefacelift are fixed to plastic trims just beneath the headlights.

Probably lots of others, but I'm tired!  :y

will be a doddle then - the only issue you may ever hit is whether you need to cut the bumper a little - depending on the type of the bar

i took a tow bar from my prefacelift and put it onto a mv6 both saloons and fitted no probs :y

Remember the long spacers from where the bolts go through the chassis

Got the tow bar off the donor, just a case of assesing the fit onto the recieving mig. got the donor up in the air still trying to get rear discs off to pinch the hand brake pads, e.t.c. to put on the good mig to pass mot. :-[
