people are voting Wagner precisely because he's awful...as far as I can see it, he can't win because at some point the judges get to decide and he'll be off  :y

that said, with 2 exceptions, X-Factor winners rarely trouble the charts once the show is over  ;)

if it was a fix Wagner would be long gone.....that said I wouldn't put it past Cowell to engineer a few stories, keep people talking about it and watching.....damn! I've fallen into his trap - the man's an evil genius  :o :y

Why?  All the time people everywhere are talking about it and the votes keep pouring for the other contestants in an effort to get Wagner out, the producers are doing very well thank you!  As you say Cowell is a clever man, and knows exactly what is going on!

I find the stiffled comments by the other contestants very interesting.  They want to say a lot more about the situation, one even saying last night it was all "a joke", but refusing to go any further ::) ::)

However, to everyone I would say "welcome to show business"!!

Wagner will not go while me and thousands of others are voting for him. Never seen/heard him but it could get rid of x factor forever.

the only issue with that is that surely Cowell wants a serious artist to emerge rather than a joke who'll disappear within minutes of the end of the show? he must have made a fortune from Leona Lewis - who, to be fair, is a genuine talent who's done well in the US or a SuBo (not X-Factor, but she sells shedloads across the world) :y
