Title: Seriously considering this
Post by: STEMO on 04 November 2019, 19:53:30
Lot of car......for the money. Stop/start, nav, heated seats front and rear, electric parking brake, keyless entry, electric tailgate, etc

If the one you have is still good to go why swap it for more of the same-albeit in different spec? I can understand the idea of swapping cars -I used to do it myself often enough-but not for more of the same.

If you like it, buy it. Or not. I know you have had more interesting cars, and I know that currently an auto diesel Astra estate ticks all your boxes, so might as well get a posh one rather than the Exclusive.

This is the K, mine is the J. Mine's getting a bit tatty and coming up to 60,000 miles, yet I reckon I'd still get £4200-4500 trade in. So..mine plus £6Kish seems okay to me. That's a much better specced one, too. Hmmmm....

I already have an elite, thank you. And WTF my wife's car being set on fire has got to do with anything..........

It's nice for my budget, Andy. I can't afford the car I'd really like, ie, one like yours  ;D
For £10Kish, it's the best I'm gonna get.

I have owned Astra’s for 20 years currently I have an Astra g 1.6 16v lpg estate the original lpg setup was crap but all I’ve done is drill manifold and fit new injectors £30 plus my labour :y that was 80.000 miles ago and it still runs great I will never be without an Astra. There’s 150,000 on it now and I will not leave it go unless something really bad happens.
