I'm not keen on seeing blue light when driving  :o
particularly flashing ones in the rear view mirror  ;D

interesting though, other colours available ? will it still dim down ?

Dimmer still works the LEDs are white, the dials are blue
OK thanks , so what bulbs ? I could do with some brighter behind the info display ,or are they different ?

Bought two packs of these today, higher lumen output than others, hence why slightly more expensive...

Good man...when you are finished pop down here and you can do mine. ;D

Sounds like a plan, you can do the bacon rolls, I will social distance at 2 metres, review the works from 2 metres, wait for the bacon rolls, have the bacon rolls and review the work again from 2 metres, when finished the bacon roll exercise and review, I exercise my mind further while driving back to Peckham and post the plan up here when get back on how it can be done when the lockdown is lifted.

Oh to have "time on our hands "..Good to get all them little niggly jobs fixed  :y

Yeah certainly is, have been neglecting the car in terms of keeping clean, so it is getting a good sorting out, done the crud around the boot seals today and changed the boot struts, next job is to clean out the interior and put the new omega rugs in that I have had sitting around for quite a few years, the ones you cannot get anymore, with Omega embroidered in. Then deep clean under the bonnet before I do the exterior. See I have a plan to keep me busy.

General Car Chat / Re: Car Polish - Wax or Ceramic?
« on: 03 May 2020, 18:58:48 »
In theory, UV-protective sealant on the lights after the polish is what you need to do to stop them clouding again.

I bought a cheapy Chinese kit off eBay with such a product included, it seems to work. It could however have been a sachet of condiment for all I know...

If the sachet liquid was a brown colour it was probably fish sauce - LOL!!!!

Cleaned out all the crud around the boot seals and replaced the boot struts, looking nice and clean now, crud free!!!!, Oh and put some LED bulbs in the speedo clocks, took off the old faded ABS sticker from the rear windsreen and put a nice new one in!!!

Yeah good to hear from you also, £15 including postage to anyone who is interested.

Results partly depend on what you are starting with ;)

Also, I don't think that 40 grit is wet and dry :D

Use the four small sanding pads that came with the turtle was kit, then today found the Megiuars lens cleaning kit, hiding in the boot all the time, thought I had thrown it, hence why bought another one, need to go to specsavers!!!

« on: 03 May 2020, 13:55:44 »
1°10 for the front camber.
Half that for the Toe, so 0°05.

Rear will be where ever it fall re camber and Toe, but the Thrust angle must be ZERO.

Well they never even got that right, advises on right hand column what should be one is at 1.28 the other at 1.18, I will need to duly make sure they get it right when I go and sort the alignment out, insist and take no prisoners as they say - LOL!!!!
