It is. Especially if you climb on top of it and jump up an down to squash it down.  ;D

We were talking about that at practice on Wednesday, and both people who admitted to doing it suggested being careful: one tipped it over and needed stiches, and the other split the bin and had to ask for a replacement. Although they did patch up the old one, so now they have two :y

Eff all, gardening duty for mother. Monster buddleia bush to chop up and put in her garden waste bin, surprising how much you can ram in a wheelie bin!

That's what I've been doing, although it was several smaller ones. I've got probably one more binful to deal with and then I've got to dig the whole garden which I'm not looking forward to. This was supposed to happen last year, as there have been various health issues that have prevented them doing much garden work for the last two years. And I hate gardening. Then I've got the sill ends to do on Richard's R100 when I can find some motivation.

As for wheelie bins, a friend disposed of a crossflow in his - apparently it made a lovely bang as it was emptied into the truck. This was a while ago, as even a knackered 1300 crossflow is now valued in troy ounces ::)
When i first read that i thought it said crossbow.  :o ;D. Had visions of an armed response unit rocking up and surrounding your house.  :D

Bits came for top hose, all sorted but my hands are wrecked from the small space I needed to get in. Could only get a 38mm 45deg pipe, hoses are 41mm so hope the hose clips hold. Started to get intake pipe work sorted, need an a/c TIG welder first to weld the alloy pipes.

Drove it back from a wet and windy Cornwall.  Took 6hrs, seeing as everyone has forgotten how to drive since the lockdowns.

Finished putting my mates 1 series coupe back together.

Not a bad little car to work on, but I have avoided doing anything mechanical on it ;D
