Hi to you all coming to the ABS/OOF monthly meet. Ive been (very naughty) looking through some of the posts and i would like to clear a couple of things up so have registered. I don't have an Omega but my son has and is a member. Sorry I'm one of the older brigade from ABS and run a Carlton Gsi 3000 as my daily drive.

ABS has been running a monthly meet for quite some time and it used to be at Donnington Services until they started to charge for parking!!!!

So after a bit of a search we ended up at the Plank and Leggit (link below)

http://www.pub-explorer.com/derbyshire/pub/plankandleggitsawley.htm

VXL V6 (Andy) who is also a member of ABS and myself thought it may be a good idea if OOF joined our ABS meet as we are all part of the VX family.

Basically the rules as such are starts at 12 noon and finishes when it break es up 2 to three hours normally. Meet - chat - few pics (i will have my camera with me this time ;D) Have a cuppa or pint or meal if want. Plenty for kids to do , plenty of outside and inside seating.

We have dedicated parking at the rear of he building (keep to left and follow road around).

Now i am aware its only a pub/eating house but no major car repairs servicing please. Car park to be left in a clean condition IE; return glasses to tables and don't leave litter.

I advise the manager as i get there that we (ABS-OOF) are there and parked around the back. Mainly so his staff don't wonder what all them cars are doing at the back of the place.

Hope i haven't upset any one as i don't intend to.

Come along and just say Hi or stop for a while and chill out. Should be quite a few from ABS this Sunday but possibly not in VX cars.

2 x Capri    1 x BMW   Carlton Gsi   a few Senny`s and a possible flying visit from a Lotus Carlton.

take care brian
