Your thoughts on the projector arm is correct, it would not make it a RHD headlight.

I see where you are coming from about bodging a set together to make a RHD light, but wouldn`t it simply be easier to buy two sets of small angel eye rings and glue them inside your existing headlights?

the rings are generally less than a fiver each from China and come in a range of colours and sizes - a damn sight cheaper than starting off with a set of expensive headlights

not sure what size you need, but this is what I am thinking

Bright White would look good, what ever you do don't do what BMW do and put yellowish coloured ones in.

Yes, but they are supposed to be set low.  OK for occasional use, but not for constant use....

My buggy originally had angel eyes from a US Motorcycle as they looked good at the time and I too thought the flat beam would be ok.

However, the MOT guy always passed it, but was not entirely happy about the "flat beam" and I must admit that driving around the country lanes with the "flat beam" is nowhere near as good as that little "kick up" from a correct RHD set of headlights. Just converted mine to a proper RHD set now, and the difference is amazing. But bear in mind that my buggy does not go anywhere near as fast as an Omega, and I struggled with teh light from the flat beam - I would hate to be driving with that at speed or in anger.

I think I know what you mean. SWMBO's Smart Roadster had a nearside lamp/bulb that wasn't clipped in its holder in the headlight correctly, so shone anywhere but infront of you :-?. Correctly fitted, the difference was most noticable  :y
