Omega Elite Alarm Wiring Diagram
« on: 02 September 2007, 00:11:15 »

does anyone have any more information like schematic diagram for the vehicle alarm system in an omega 2.5 elite. I basically want to install a clifford concept 600 with intelistart. I have the clifford alarm suggested wiring sheet but it is still abit vague.

Hi Mate

Cheers for getting the info. Why do you say that. I would of thought it would not be that bad as most of the functions are on the omega alarm so it should be a case of just linking to the omega own alarm.

I am interested in your comments though. I have installed some clifford alarms before and i know they are a pain in the back side to install but i do like them.

I wouldn't put a clifford alarm on a pedal car.

The Omega alarm is Thatcham 1 approved and some of the functions associated with it and the immobiliser are way more advanced than you can get with an aftermarket setup.

As fopr wiring diagram, the hayns one is pretty accurate but, I suspect you realy need central door locking info etc as well.

The haynes manual is terrible for electrical diagrams unless you fancy cutting every wire in the car to find the actual one that you want. :)

Clifford have a nice little program that gives you the electrical connections that you need to make. Just need someone who has access to a current version.
