CDR500 - Will it fit in a 1997 Omega 2.0 GLS
« on: 02 September 2007, 14:34:08 »

 Type:  CD-Radio
 Manufacturer:  VDO
 Brand:  --    Unit Size:  DIN
 Model:  CDR500
Features:  CD-R/ CD-RW, RDS, Removable Front Panel, Security Code

Can anyone tell me if the above unit CDR500 will fit in to 1997 Omega 2.0 GLS estate with out any problems, it has trafficmaster fitted and I use it - If I buy the CDR500 it comes with the code and instructions leaflet.

Thanks

Thanks, I have steering wheel controls, but the screen could be a problem - I will give it a try and see what happens.

Should be able to flick the CDR500 between 8 and 10 digit displays using procedure in Maintenence Guides.

Yup CDR500 can work with a TID as per Astra, Corsa and Vectra which it was also fitted to.
