General Discussion Area / Paypal Limits?
« on: 08 February 2011, 22:06:53 »
Is there an upper limit as to a paypal transaction?

A friend of mine has there own business and wants to be able to take credit card payments, has a business bank account but the bank won't give them a streamline machine to allow payments by card over the phone.

I suggested setting up a business paypal account but have to admit i don't know much about it. Average transaction would vary between 2-5K is this doable with paypal?

TIA Dave :)

Mrs wants a little netbook for taking to work and uni, will only use it for browsing and storing photo's on so doesn't need to be hugely powerful.

Anybody know anything about them, I'm not massively IT literate :-[

Looking at a budget of around 200-250 or less if i can find the right product oh and preferably PINK if possible.

Anybody any suggestions :question

General Discussion Area / Morris 8
« on: 03 October 2010, 19:45:04 »
Went to see a customer today who had a mighty fine collection of cars (17 in total) but the one that caught my eye had to be the Morris 8, 70 years old and in better condition than some of my recent marques.

Got to get me another clasic soon not sure what but a series one landrover seems to be winning for me at present :-/

General Discussion Area / Big Thanks to Elite Pete
« on: 24 September 2010, 18:21:03 »
Mentioned it in my MOT thread but just wanted to say again a BIG THANKYOU to Elite Pete for helping me changing the Wishbones, droplinks and full trackrod setups both sides.

This guy really knows his way around the omega and has no problem explaining exactly what he's doing and why. Nothing is to much trouble and for a very fair price, this why i keep going back and will be doing shortly for the Cam belt.

No rush on the headlight pete it didn't cause a problem on the test ;) ;)

Once again thanks pete wouldn't have got it through without you :y

As some of you may know i recentley bought the wife a Ford Street KA little convertible thing. I'd like to say its sh!t but in truth its actually fun to throw about with its little 1.6 engine.

But the RFL on it is 130 for SIX months its a bloody shoebox go cart size car. I was expecting more like 50 quid for twelve months >:(
