I've driven ten tonners and 32 tonners, but never had more than an ordinary licence.

I must as old as you Seth!......... :o :o ;)

Class 1 and PSV both taken in 1979. An Old, even in those days, Commer, crash box etc for my Class 1 and a 1963 Bedford 45 Seater Coach for PSV.

Buses / Coaches in particular driven part time over the years, Same with trucks, fitted in nicely when I used to work shifts, though did drive full time, when living in Poole in 1985 as a fill in job........... :y :y

Like Seth no CPC, may or may not do it, depends on future plans, plenty companies will pay for the training, so it has been suggested to me, certainly for trucks, but I like a load that gets on and off on it's own...... :y

Funny you should mention this, 'cos we 'inherited' this docile fella ...

Our grandson (then aged 7) confidently perched upon Tim

... and we've got a trap that he'll happily 'clip-clop' us around Gower on ... with this mental case spirited little chap:

... joining us aboard the trap. So there, pal! 8)

18 years driving coaches for a small coach company, then left after becoming a 'grumpy' coach driver, had a break for 3 years and now driving local buses fro National Express.
Once it's in the blood it's hard to get away!
