Omega General Help / Re: Lambda 1&2 Spare Numbers for V6 Y26SE
« on: 16 July 2023, 10:26:19 »
So, once again, is the part in my first message here sensor 1 or sensor 2? Is B before something and A after or what these Alphabets mean?

When idling roughly unplugging MAF does not change situation. Have to check. trims and others live data

48
Thanks DG, I report after fortnight, now far away from the Omega.

49
This starts to be too difficult for me, please help!:
2-4-6 (bank 2) camcover seal changed. New Bosch Coilpack installed. All six plugs changed, original.
Starts perfectly runs  perfectly 150km/h and idles well when cold. When getting warm still runs perfectly but has rough idling and engine light blinking. Get codes 130 and 150. After codes cleared no codes after driving when engine immediately stopped. But if let idling after a couple of seconds rough idling, blinking engine light and codes 130 and 150. If let it idle 3 minutes also misfire 2-4-6, 302 304 306. What is going on? MAF? Difficult to think that bank 1 and bank 2 first O2 sensors  fault at the same time.
Furthermore, when rough idling and engine light blinking when I put in neutral 3000rpm the engine light stops blinking, goes off. MAF? Please help. Can get live data, I remember B1S1 and B2S1 are more or less frozen when idling rough.

Omega General Help / Plenum to Intake Bridge Torque?

Didn't find it here, guess it's 20Nm. Usually I overtight everythng...

Sure, I take care of the earthing. However, it was time to change spark plugs so I found wells 4 and 6 full of oil. Wells 1, 3, 5 and 2 were dry. I took cam cover away and will change gasget soon. Cover not warped. Aluminium cover preferred if someone have those avaolable. Ordered also coil pack 246 and found leaking HBV so good to be there sometimes...

53
So, this time codes 300, 302, 304, 306, rough sometimes, perhaps coilpack to be changed. When clearing codes yesterday found ECU voltage only 11.2V while battery around 14 as charging is ok. Ground connectors in frame below battery are green and white, very corroded. They might not cause this 2-4-6 problem.

Should ECU Voltage be same as Bat Voltage?
Where to order Coilpacks from and which trades are recommendable, Bosch, Beru...? Found from Autodoc several possibilities.

54
Seems I forgot to tighten that hose 10 years ago. After tightening no leakage even in 16psi.

55
Thanks, now I remeber the construction. I replaced thermostat and this pipe 10 years ago. Bastard bolt is there where it should be, pipe and o-rung was renewed as well. So it have to be the hose whic is leaking... I check once again.

56
So, 2001 Omega 2.6 V6, when pressurizing cooling system very much cooling liquid is pouring from left where the large hose is going from radiator. This hose is tightened to metal "pipe" below left cylinder head or in head or somewhere there. I believe that the joint between this big hose and pipe is OK but the metal pipe connection between it and engine is leaking. Difficult to see there. What kind of metal part is there and can I remove the metal pipe somehow. Did not find any pics here, please help.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: 12V Pumps in Cooling System
« on: 18 January 2023, 19:11:44 »
So, these long lasting projects... got new climate panel from scrapper with same serial numbers but it did not make any difference, less than 0.5V in conditions when pump should run and zero when not. Connected 12V directly to X63 pin 19 in cabin and pump started to rotate, perhaps should have started by doing this but you never know. Maybe this is thing that fails in those panels, from old thread

I would like to check this BTS711L1 chip just for fun. As I now have a spare I put the old one back and study the scrapper one.

Omega General Help / Re: Lambda sensor issues
« on: 06 January 2023, 16:24:28 »
Any other running issues?

What fuel are you currently using?

Last plug and air filter change?

No other issues.

Can your Bluetooth scanny jobbie look at live data? If so can you post all the fuel trim values - especially long term fuel trim (LTFT) :y

This, but 'Short Term Fuel Trim' I think. I had something very similar in my Y26SE. Lambda 1 was "Lazy" and caused frozen short term trim. See below. I did not do anything. It dissappeared within about two weeks, afterwards thought that perhaps carbon residuals etc. dirt in sensor which then went away???

Thanks, I read that link. If you look at the live data I posted earlier in this thread, the Short Term Fuel Trim seems stable at 2%. Since clearing the codes, the light has not come back so maybe, as in your case, it may stay that way!
OK, good to hear that all is working perfectly now, hope that it continues; I saw that table data. However, never seen stable sensors' No 1 & Short Term Trims data not jumping up and down in my Y26SE. What I see is in your table is stable 2% in both Short Term cells or did you present some curves which I cannot see.

Omega General Help / Re: Shock went into the boot

Ok, thanks -4 is really too cold for maintenance outside. Just checked that London had today around zero, didn't know that you can have such weathers. We had colder than -10  already in November here in west coast where I live. In Lappland they already have had more than -20. Summer in Finland is usually ok, not too hot, yes and no snow...
