New wheels
« on: 23 May 2015, 21:36:29 »

Not been on for a while - fed up with inane comments from the keyboard warriors on here.

Thought you may be interested in pics of my new wheels, an XJ, not new but only 30K, complete with 2 year Jag warranty - collect next week from Jag main dealer.
Its a petrol (don't like weasels altho impressed with the 3 lit one I test drove) - the 5.0 lit V8 - 0-60 4.4 secs

They are certainly a nice car.  I'm not convinced about its arse - in fact I thing the Jag designers were smoking the wrong shit when they got to that bit.

Good luck with it :y

;D, that's the thing with "art", one person will love it, the next will think its back is pig ugly ;D.

Its due to the rear styling, I think I'd prefer an XF, even if you do miss out on some of the extras.

XF is too small, and as  you say way less goodies.

I do very much like those XJs, really really nice. Making the older shapes very cheap now.

I bet you get better mpg out that, than I do from my 3.2  ;D

385 V8 or 503 supersport?

Either way very nice. They both fall into the £500+ tax bracket dont they?
