Drove in the US for the first time ever

Don't cut anybody up. They'll shoot you in a heartbeat. :)
Didn't get so much as beeped at once. Most disappointing...

Wear a 'White lives matter' T-shirt and drive through Chicago.

Actually, you'd probably be safer than driving amongst the 'tolerant'  woke white liberals in California. ;)

One of my companions was a Hungarian lass, of similar vintage and mind as me... Was actually quite liberating to be able say what you are thinking and have someone agree because they are thinking the same thing. Also met a Similarly minded Pakistani ex pat.

Don't tell anyone, but  apparently Saudi and the Midwest have a lot in common :o

I was a bad boy as a yoof, but I wasnt that bad. ;D
I remember when I was 15 I had to tell her the Police were going to be paying a visit (first of many as it turned out).
I had my story worked out perfectly, and was confident I could get away with it.
Mum answered the door to the copper and said "he knows he has done wrong but he has promised he wont do it again".
Thanks Mum.  ::) ;D

Because you messed up the quote formatting so I fixed it  :y

Hopefully the Porker parts were affordable, a good friend has a 997 and its just skinned him over a k for rear discs, shoes and pads after the rear shoe setup jammed up (similar setup to Omega for parking brake), it was more than 200 just for the springs for the handbrake setup which were damaged

In that case - thanks.  :y
Discs & pads were around £75 from Halfords, so not bad at all. Ive had the rear brakes apart before and it is indeed very similar to the Omega setup.
The handbrake cable had seized / rusted internally, so it was a matter of dismantling, cleaning, lubricating, reassembly and adjustment of everything with the handbrake cable replaced.
I wouldnt even ask the price from Porsche tbh. Im too much at risk of heart attacks for that.  ;D

Took my  Omega for an alignment (a local  hunter hawkeye alignment place) as i'd replaced the steering gubbins ,
I left all the bodies and tat in the boot etc as it is rarely empty ,so had it set up "loaded"
interestingly , i took the OOF / WIM figures and said "ignore what the machine says, i want this..."
the bloke said the system numbers matched what i had  8)

also ordered a new tyre to replace a nearly new one that i'd damaged the sidewall on  :(

Made up the heater connecting pipes for the Austin, Metro heater unit to Omega engine. First time I tried plumbing and it looks okay, used 15mm copper and a few 90 joints.
