poor reception
« on: 04 July 2007, 21:36:14 »

Hello just new to the site and was wondering if anyone could help  me.I have a 2001 Omega estate fitted with a CDR 2005 stereo. The problem is the reception is very poor only really picking up radio 1 and unable to pick up any others. I have changed the roof mounted aerial but no difference in quality. Any suggestions please.
Thanks

sometimes the cage that radio sits in gets deformed, making a poor contact.  Also check the cable to connector connection...

Sorry, I meant the one behind the cage.

Some have another connection in the kick panel...
