I've always maintained you're better off sticking to something with an engine and no mind of its' own. Your story reinforces that. ;)

Totally agree especially after I bought an Xj6 in the 80's and a young lass borrowed a horse off the owner (without asking) the horse paniked and rode acreoss the bonnet of the car dismounteg the rider.  in the pamic makeing sure the girl was ok I hadnt realised I had aquirred a couple of hoof printts in the bonnet.

I was expecting.......I went horse riding today with my 33 year old Lithuanian lady.  After that we bonked ourselves senseless in the open air.  :)

That was the plan if I ever went to Tenerife - but sadly she passed last Dec and the very young age of 36   :'( :'(

Well I'm in A&E

Today is not a good day. I decided to go horse riding. Something I haven't done for many many years. It turned out to be a big mistake! I got on the horse and we started off slowly, grew in confidence, went a little faster, before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me behind.
It just wouldn't stop!!

Thankfully the manager at Tesco came out and unplugged the machine. He actually had the nerve to take the rest of my change so I wouldn't attempt to ride the Elephant........

How many of you actually read what I wrote? If you did, copy and paste for someone else to get a laugh! 😋😊

Just a thought but why not try putting a powerfull torch/lantern in the boot when its dark and see if the light shines out where possible leaks might be.

Why not fit a Kevlar Timing Belt - apparently good for at least 100,000 miles
