Omega General Help / Re: which brand do you recommend?
« on: 24 April 2024, 20:44:53 »
mine doesn't have xenon.
My omega is a 1998 model and had a face lift.
but the headlights from the traffic lights don't shine well.
I plan to change them but not sure which brand of the ones I mentioned.

I had fitted Bilstein shocks but they had little life.
I find trw shocks half price from sachs. 33 euros each.
I think they are worth a try.

which brand is recommended?
From abakus , TYC , John's autoteile , diederichs ...
have you noticed differences between them or are they all the same?

also I find the shock absorbers TRW at a good price... and I'm thinking of installing them. where is your knowledge?

Omega General Help / Re: Problem with low rpm
« on: 11 December 2022, 10:01:26 »
with a little luck, I succeeded and found the fault, after 10 days of searching.
I mention it to help a friend in the future.
I think it is a difficult damage.
the fuel pressure regulator was at fault!!!
gasoline was poured into the vacuum, with the result that the engine has these symptoms, which refer to another damage.

Omega General Help / Problem with low rpm
« on: 03 December 2022, 21:53:20 »
I have a opel omega 2000cc eith x20xev , 1998 model .
when the engine is at low rpm the rpm goes up and down until to turn off.
then, it doesn't start, only if I put full throttle .
I think so is not problem with the vacuum.

Yes and replaced with New relay.
I Checked the power and its ok.
But Checked the cable line with multimeter and so  its cut.
I don't know if the cable is cut, or if the are any fuse, or relay, or anythink inserted in the cable line.
