As we knew them ? Nope. And yes Blackmore did it like nobody else, and Gillan is getting close to 70 so it's all something of a nostalgia trip. But hey better than nothing and still better than a lot of the other stuff around today

They had a pallet load of torque wrenches in ours , people fighting over them ... maybe destined for egay  ::)

I went to Aldi last night .. was sorely tempted by a whole bunch of stuff but managed to resist. Picked up a £9.99 in-car iPhone charger, though.

Spent £20 in Lidl the day before on a reel-out compressor hose (not a spring loaded wall mounted one but more like a little reely cable extension)..

I'm worse than a woman in a shoe shop in those places.

I got my Charger, Torque wrench, and clamps today. Loads of stuff left in the one in Oldham if its any use to anyone nearby! Only thing I really wanted were welding rods and they didn't have any  ::)

Good for quite a few jobs on the Omega,but you also want a smaller one from lless than 8nm up to 20ish nm. :y

Just picked up my torque wrench, looks quite good, so out goes the 40 year old one, which may, just possibly, be out of calibration. ::) For anyone in the Swindon area, Aldi at Stratton still had a dozen or so today. :y
