Please excuse the English vernacular cem but that job is absolutely fan-bloody-tastic! The car now has a far superior finish than the manufacturer applied!! :D ;D :y

yep.. the car has much better paint system than the original.. one of the painters offered some serious money for this car :-? ;D

next year planning to re-paint omega and use this laquer also.. :y

Congratulations cem, all that hard work has resulted in an impressive finish. 8-)

here are final pictures (hood open)( I must note final polish and sanding still not done as miggy started another trouble)




front part  later covered with 3m film to protect from stonechips (pictures taken before)

head gasket doesnt seem original.. I cant see any GM brand on it >:( 

but other than that , heads were not skimmed and valves in good nick..

heads ported and polished today.. new valves (old set also useable but kept aside for bad days)

new gasket set from GM..  cylinder walls nearly new :o so no need to work there .. (measured by the specialist)
