sunroof gone ape

my eletric sun roof has gone bananas, opens and closes by its self, i eventualy got it shut after two days and removed the fuse, any ideas why its gone nuts?

Could be dirty contacts in the switch, ( shorting out ) do you smoke? try opening the pannel and cleaning it a bit, Might help. or is the relay on its way out?

mine did that a few years back
cleared after i disconected the battery for a hour  :y

My sunroof refuses to close when switched to this(arrow on switch pointing to w/screen ...only by incrementally switching from all points to close will it obey....... Any ideas folks???

As TB say's a full reset, cycle the Sunroof in all directions fully and hold the the switch in on all cycles for a least 5 seconds after its stopped.
