GM oil filter ambiguity.
« on: 04 March 2016, 16:14:18 »

I ordered part GM 93186310 which arrived in a sealed box.

However, the oil filter in the box is marked GM 12593333.

Same filter?....and if so why two different part numbers?

Is it the right diameter, size and thread?
Yes? - screw it on and forget about for a year.
No? - take it back and complain.
