climate control digital readout
« on: 06 January 2007, 17:33:12 »

Hi, the bulb if it has one, or connection seems to have gone on the climate control on the passenger side, where it shows u the temp setting, which can be adjusted up or down. It still works fine, but the display does not show orange.

Is this a common fault, could it be a loose connection?

Just a pain looking at 3 perfect dials and one not working!

car is pre facelift (i get upset saying that!) 3.0 elite auto

thanks

Yeah, bulb. Easy to change, probably takes an hour though first time around. Change all 5, so you're not doing same next week.

There is a guide in Maintence Guides section, involves removing centre console panel...

You will need your radio code

Fairly easy popping out the console as mentioned might as well change all 5 bulbs since your there  :y

Just to clear some confusion... you car is pre mini-facelift. The Full facelift came in 1999/2000, and the mini-facelift in 1998  :y

Does a bit, didn't intend it to. Its just if you refer to pre facelift in posts you may get incorrect information  :y

Elites are top cars, may have one my self soon  :-X

I know you didn't mean anything Tunnie and Paulo has nicely filled all his details in  - it's only got 31k - that's 12k less than mine  :'( and TBH all this facelift, mini-facelift, pre-facelift, Omega B, Omega C - jeez it's hard work just keeping up  ;D
