Omega alloys. .. I have on our car 17 in elite rims which look great . Question.  Can any other 5stud rim fit eg merc/audi rwd as we want to go to 18s and not many vauxhall rims available.

hi all , got a prob with our v6 omega , drivers side bank rear spark plug lead removed from plug , ... rusty water in the recess around plug , hence miss fire , removed plug , cleaned the lead and dried it out , now works fine, .... is there a core plug /plugs under the cam boxes cheers all.

well the problem didnt get looked into over the weekend as iam now on crutches due to knee injury , but everything is now back to normal speedo, tc, abs ,i know its gonna need looking at and will sort it , but thanks for all the advice .

thanks all for the info , going to check out the rear sensors first at the weekend , then see what happens , car is too good to throw away , looks great , sounds lovely,drives great , but dont wanna spend loads on it , got good history with it aswell , so i wanna keep it tho wife wants something elso ...... not on my watch , cheers all

hi all , driving home tonight the speedo on our facelift v6 just stopped, then the TC ,ABS warning lights come on , after a couple of miles it cleared itself, speedo back to normal warning lights off ......... then back on again . any ideas ? cheers all.

been offered a 51 plate 2.6 v6 elite, my w reg omega 2.5 v6 isnt well , so i may buy the other one , any ideas on the yearly road tax price , will it be the same as my older one ? cheers all , john

yep i know this story well , had a similer problem , ended up fitting cam boxes aswell as gaskets , but had to make sure breathers were all clear to which they were after giving them the major clean out they needed , one pipe even broke as was full of dried crap , now after sorting this problem ages ago its back as it should be .... good luck with the dealer

hi all , this weekend had a chance to look over the steering problem ...notchy steering , felt lose , just not right , had a good look under neath and found centre steering link ball joints knocking and plenty of movement , also n/s idler arm bush worn , so going to order bits tomorrow and sort it . , also going to change exhaust as its looking a tad rusty at the joints . not bad for a 12 year old motor with 188000 and still going strong , no oil leaks not burning oil, and still goes like a rocket when needed ,

done a new idler this year and new track rods and link bars back in may for the MOT , but gonna recheck at the weekend , got a feeling its steering box

done this job awhile back but ended up changing both cam boxes aswell as new gaskets as there was still a leak on the o/s bank , not a nice job .

need a bit of help here, steering on my migv6 isnt right, going to look it over at the weekend , but had a quick look tonight , it feels very notchy , think thats spelt wrong , but rocking the steering wheel from side to side  holding the road wheel u can feel its not smooth , feels very lose on steering wheel, a lot of play from left to right , too much play over 3 inches before the wheel starts to turn ....... steering box? adustment ? any help please , john .

after replacing the worn inner and outer track rods and link bars and counting the turns on each joint thought it best to get it 4 wheel tracked inc rears , wow ......was it out or what , now drives like new, worth looking into , caster/camber, rear link adjustment and balancing .

radio works fine , but cd player has never worked, the 4 disc cassette loads but nothing , is it a code thing , or is it broke ? any ideas, just says on the display CD SAFE.
