What a con
« on: 21 April 2017, 19:03:32 »

A mate has a 56 plate Focus the other day he heard a metallic "ping" inside the car and the clutch pedal felt a bit different. He found a metal "hook" in the drivers footwell which turned out to be one end of a clutch return spring-the car was still driveable but with less feel to the pedal-Ford used to sell these springs for a quid or so each, however they've now decided in their wisdom that these springs are no longer available as a stand alone item and that you have to buy the complete pedal box at £300 odd  :o :o

That's a rip off, how can they justify that?

Why would they need to? It's not as if the car is drivable with the broken part.
