I'd quite like one of those robot dogs.

They don't shit everywhere and if it becomes a PITA just turn it off!

I wonder if they come with different modes?

From lapdog to aggressive attack dog?

Have to say, I prefer an actual dog although travelling can be a bit of a pita... That said, that's the price of responsibilities.
