Whats the difference between a towing eye and a tow ball?

I use a towing eye for my rigid bar for towing.

Mot wise, i think if an electrical tow socket was fitted it was to be tested using a simple plug in tester.

Testers will verify.

I picked up one from a junk shop recently. Unbranded but looks to have come from a Japanese car of some sort. Big chunky motor about the size of a wiper motor so it's low speed and bearable noise levels, unlike the high-revving, deafening, lasts-one-inflation-before-dying types the motor factors sell.

I'm still jealous of the Porsche one 2woody has.

Yeah, what happened to him? ???

On the Jag forum taking Jaguars to bits .

In the case of the slightly distorted flange which the discs sit on, it takes a couple of warm ups before the problem affects the trueness of the new discs.

Not sure of the set up on an x3.

Hub flange once got bent by an over enthusiastic wheel bearing replacement.

When the discs were changed later, it gave the same result no matter how many discs went on. Just a thought.
