hi guys,

these flappy paddle jobbies.... can the flappy paddle mode be switched off and put into normal automatic mode (in 'D' and go!!!)??

so if you can, would the car such as a ferrari or aston martin be as fast in automatic (with the sports or race button on) as it would be in paddleshift mode???

General Discussion Area / Electric cars.... will these need gears?

yo guys,

i saw top gear the other day and the electric car based on the lotus elise (tazem or tazer or something like that).

the electric car which was automatic absolutely slaughtered the lotus elise when they raced it. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

can someone explain if they will all be automatic when the oil dries up and electric cars will be all the norm???

top gear said it only had one gear/speed??

im constantly getting slated for having 'an ocean liner' for a car and its too thirsty for this day and age, and how autos are crap etc etc...... but aint it funny how when it comes to going anywhere my friends want to go in my luxury car. and when i race them i cain them. and when boot space is needed my girl is called on. hahahaa how queer lol 

ps my folks have borrowed my omega to go on holiday for the weekend hahahahaha

hi,

just read the thread on what MV6 stands for.... very interesting but isnt it more interesting that the MV6 that everyone loves for it's pace is actually only 1 second faster from 0-60 than my standard 2.5 CD.

i checked the figures out on parkers.

i just expected a lot more. your thoughts?
