They have to be (correctly) described as potato and meat pies nowadays.

Oh yes. Holland pies, steak and kidney, meat and potato and meat pies were lovely. But I think that might not be the case now because there's so much they're not allowed to put in them.

Oh yeah, just remembered Hollands steak and kidney pudding. Making myself hungry now.


I seem to remember, in about 1965-67, I could get pie, chips and gravy for two bob.
