Re getting a CS from Dingro. The advice here, which I have followed after my CS failed, is to avoid early failure of a pattern CS and buy a genuine VX CS.  :y

so got new crank sensor delivered to garage from dealers £54 in total not bad i reckon and car back going hopefully better now :y
maddog21 care got fixed in garage 30 mins

glad its done :y :y should get another --spare--I know several v6 owners on here keep a spare handy-they go at anytime :'(

now then
so got new crank shaft sensor fitted and that has taken 0300 off but as low on fuel went to morrisons and put in some fuel although i am not sure can this be related ? i have now code 0330 knock sensor bank 1 fault, this i did have a while back but not recently but have been using shell fuel,so can this code be back due to cheaper fuel or maybe related to crank shaft sensor your thoughts would much be appreciated

Bought genuine cs from Evans Halshaw, main VX dealer and you guessed it, wrong part!!!!
