Basically you keep Saab engine loom then use adapter to plug to your car
Think there 7 wires
If you on fb then have look on vauxsaab

I know sound odd but try disconnect maf sensor
I had 4 or 5 omega 3.2 with same issue
Car start and tick over but won't rev

B204/b234 bolt straight to omega gearbox Saab flywheel and pressure plate and omega clutch plate
You can buyou on line adapter kit
BTW I have almost complite kits for sale

This car was for sale some time ago for nearly £2k by different owner
I was interesting in it at the time but was in convinced time scale
So I left,  few months later saw car sold for less then £1k with transmission issue,
  well is long story and with my broken english  :D I will stop here ;D

On trader saw BMW 745i for £3k, it was 2004 year so the real ugly one. But top spec, Phone, electric memory heated seats. Blinds in the doors, even the small corner bit had it’s own blind. Was long wheel base one.

Cost someone huge amount once, cheap as chips now.

Now they fuel use is not an issue  ::)  :-X  ;D
Make sure there no issue with steering .
I done steering rack on one if them last year was £3k from bmw
No aftermarket replacement available

Depends on engine some vag engines are in 140k miles timing belt replacement
If is 4 pot tdi price tag £250-400 full kit with water pump supply and fit

Dsg oil and filter about £100
Every 40 k miles
We do service them onow regular basis
Remember they do have DMF too
