Can people start adding next their names which jobs they need doing, that way we can get an idea as to how much work is to be done.  At the moment I get the feeling it's not a lot......

Nothing specific 'cause it's a Traktor but would appreciate it being checked over on KW's Tech 2 and the steering/wheel bearings etc given a look as preventative measures

PM me your name and address in case you can make it.  WRT the mig welder I doubt we will be able to run one off a geny, but then I am ready to put right......
Certainly my MIG wouldn't run off a 2kw genny

I have the following that needs to be looked at:
- snapped manifold studs - 2 i think (not sure if the head would have to come off)
- very slight coolant leak - not sure hbv or loose pipe
- droplinks checked

I'm just after a diagnosis first and then hopefully i'll know for sure what actually needs to be done. :y

Well, if everyone's bored with no jobs to do... ;)

Change driver's side central locking motor and fit new speaker.

Investigate creaky rear suspension bushes.

Change spark plugs.

I'm sure I can think of some more... ;)

EDIT: Oh, yes. Investigate why my self levelling HIDs occasionally go into "blind everyone" mode.

Oh, and I might try welding with that gennie if I get a chance in the week. I suspect it'll be a dead loss, and my welding's bad enough with a decent power source. ::)

re welding the door check strap. Does the vx field repair kit cover all eventualitys? I thought it could be fixed with bolts and large washers? Depends how far gone the metal is i suppose?

AIUI, it's the other end - the bracket has come away from the door post on the chassis.

Would be interesting to poke about behind your triangular plate, see the orientation and if mv6 bushes are the same as other models. I suppose they will be?
