Signums use the same gear as the Vectra estate so same boxes I suppose.

well obviously its built for foriegn markets in that the dash slants slightly towards the passenger the huge storage box in the center console only opens one way and that is against the driver so if you want to get some thing out the unit its near on impossible  :-X

oh and personally i think that it handles worse than my cannal boat  ;D :y

and i cant wait till it goes back, but i spose these are just personal oppinions  :y :y

Your comments upset my local Pug dealer when I asked for a 24 hour test drive, arranged through Peugeot, and he wanted to know why ::) ::) What a stroppy salesman, and I know that he lied to a potential customer on the phone when I called in to look at the car recently :-X

We could not agree on a suitable length of time to test drive the car, he wanted a run up the road and back, so I simply told him to leave it at that then. Just wait till Peugeot get back to me :D :D :D

So, what do we think of the Signum?? or will this have the same gearbox problem as the Vectra :-/

No major gearbox problems on the Vectra.

;D ;D ;D ;D hahahaha he only wanted to let you drive up the road and back because if you had it for 24 hours you would realise what a load of tosh it really is  ;D ;D ;D

Went hunting in Darlington later this afternoon, one of the better used car dealers, possible result. Got my eye on a Rover 75 CDTi in Green. 04plate, not even in the garage yet, due in next week but noticed in tonight's paper it is advertised already ::) ::)

75 CDTi wouldn't be a bad bet, they're very nice cars  :y

I don't know what I want, or what price or even new ::) ::) current car is a lease car, so lot of money for nothing, hence the change. yep thinking of Rover, but went to see a Volvo today, older than I was thinking, petrol not diesel but, sat in it and was like sitting in you favourite arm chair, unbelievable... :y Car is a Cat D, but at the price not bothered, photos available of damage and only superficial,,, :-/
Also wondering if the best bet is to spend some money and have the Galant refurbished / restored, I love that car :D  I spend my professional life making very serious decisions, but can I make a decision for myself, well according to swmbo, I can't..... :-[ :-[ :-[

No problem, though I don't want a very small car... :)
I love Mig's but a little heavy for me to use on a daily basis, do a lot of running about, parking it tight spaces etc, particularly at work :-X Not totally ruling one out though..... ::) ::) ::)

As i frequently wind co-works up, Omega has a better turning circle than most small hatches  :)
