early last year when i was on here there were a few locals who wanted to do a meet.
is there anyone still on here and would they like to try again?

there seems to be a few of us rotherham-ers on here.
we need to do something to ID each others cars on the road, theres loads of non-oofers around here

I was thinking about another 'mini' York meet like we did last year around September at Ruffort.

What's everyones thought on that? I could happily arrange another meet up their no problem...

Me a possibility as still having chemo well into late August but if I feel ok (fit enough) in Sept I would really fancy it especially if I hav'nt done my cambelt or cam cover gaskets, mind hoping to start tomoz as feeling better after recent chemo treatment sessions :-/

Right, just had a look at my available hols for another York meet.

When would be best?

Date range would be from 16/9/09 to 5/10/09. How many days would we like it to last? (I don’t mind if its 1 day, or 1 week! It’s an excuse for me to use my caravan again!!

) I assume it ideally needs to include a weekend too?

Wouldn't you SY guys be able to get to the ABS/OOF meets in the midlands? They're usually well attended.

There's also the ABS/TC meets in York every other month - OOF members are very welcome (all other GM clubs too!").

from 11am onwards, so next one is November.
The pub has a large carpark and a brilliant carvery, so feel free to just turn up!

The ABS Northern RO is gonna invite some Fraud Crapi's cos there's a few of them in N. Yorks, so not leaving it strictly to GM cars anymore.

If he can be bothered, like............he's been saying it long enough.

We did have some Manta boys come over once, with some very tasty looking Mantas, but they've not been back. Dunno why!
