fitting stereo in 2.2tdi cd 03 plate

the volume knob does not work very well are the stereos easy to replace ? also is there a better one to fit other than the standard thanks

Very easy to fit, standard stereo is very good unless you want to go down the Bose route. CCR 2006 has a 4 disc changer that will fit in there too  :y

What is in there currently.  Technically, a CD spec car should have the naff CDR2005, though many, particularly later ones, came with the slightly better CCR2006

yours being a 2003, surely that came with ccr2006 - most later CDs (and MV6, which had same stereo) had the upgrade fitted at factory

Unlucky for us eh? Our '03 2.2CD (Registered July '03) has only single cd and no cassette. Our '01 cdx has CCR2006 ::)
