Author Topic: WANTED: Late Facelift 3.2 Elite Estate  (Read 3568 times)

WANTED: Late Facelift 3.2 Elite Estate

As per the title really... I know I'm after something Rare as Rocking Horse Poo but... Just asking really! ::) ::)

The plan is to replace my Mini-Facelift with a Facelift Estate. Must be Auto and must have all the toys... Preferably Colour display too.

Just putting the feelers out... No rush!

There's a 2.6 here ....  :-/ its got a colour screen.

yes it should, but this hasnt!  Im assuming they have been changed, or stolen and replaced with steels

Got a W plate 3.0 facelift elite estate the same as the one AndyB linked to, same colour as well with the same toys, but with black leather instead of cream.  Bit battleworn and with higher miles (160k or so) but been through both the hands of JamesVr and myself so in reasonable/above average mechanical fettle.  I put new VX discs and pads on it when my son got it and James had already done the wishbones etc, as I recall as well as most of the other common things such as cam cover gaskets, breahters etc.... 

Gearbox fluid and filters changed a few months ago, all software upto date and ticketyboo....

Gives a shout for more details if your interested....   ;)

Sounds nice but I'll pass thanks. I don't plan to change just for the sake of it ::)

I'll only buy a later 3.2, preferably 02 plate or newer, as there's nothing wrong with my mini-facelift, I just want a newer, lower mileage estate to replace it and see me through another few years. The one I've got is by far the best car I have ever owned for overall comfort and driver satisfaction, hence the desire for another, newer one to see me through a good few years.

Incidentally, if I find one my LPG'd S reg saloon will go up for sale. I've recently seen similar cars in worse condition go for surprisingly good money!

Not too worried if it needs a bit of mechanical TLC but must have good bodywork and interior :y :y
